Hi there,

The 'B' denotes 'enhanced VRF' functionality. The modular C9200's support 4 VRF. I can't find any information on the number a platform with the 'B' part-number supports, but I guess it would be more than 4.

cheers,

Seb.

The C9200-24PB and C9200-48PB increase the available VRFs up to 32.

See Release Notes for Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches, Cisco IOS XE Amsterdam 17.2.x - Cisco for more information.  From a hardware perspective, the switches are a bit heavier and have a longer MTBF among other differences.
