There are 5 C9200 switches operating as a stack running IOSXE   Version 16.9.3:

- when making any configuration changes and type write memory command the stack shows the below log and then reboots with no any configuration change.

Log:

001479: Jan 15 07:55:57: %PARSER-6-WMLRETRY: Write memory lock currently held by pid '362', automatic retry. -Process= "Virtual Exec", ipl= 0, pid= 474

is this a bug, if so what is the Known release fixes this issue?

Thanks to help

 - From the mentioned below links it certainly looks like a bug ; but those do not reference to your platform (results came from   a Google search). That means you can either contact TAC or try yourself with a more recent software release for this platform if available and applicable.

I'm facing the same problem with a 3x 9200 Stack (Amsterdam-17.03.04b).

Colud you fix your issue?

If yes which IOS version are you running?

Thanks

Hello, any solution? I'm having the same problem.

Do you recommend updating to the latest firmware version?

is it solved like this?

Best regards,
