if you have configured correctly. - if the switch is offering DHCP for you

get progam call putty (google help you)

check your default gateway IP (type ipconfig /all)

use putty to ssh to gateway IP address - you will be asked username/password. (after that enable .password)

# show run (post complete outpput)

or try https://gatewayip ( what you find above step (ip address will be x.x.x.x)

i will also advise spend some time on quick start guide :

is there another way to configure the switch rather than management port and console port because i don't have console cable.

Cat 9300 have 2 ports back-side, make sure you connected right port.

1 is for console

1 is MGMT  << you need to connect to this port.

if you able to connect other port and switch working, ssh to switch and post the configuration.

Thank you balaji

I'll try it

Thanks for support I really appreciate it

Hi Mr Balaji this is what i got

no default gateway! even thou i made it 172.17.99.1 before the problem,

is it okay to connect through putty over any port or should i connect to console?

there is no IP given by switch, that is the default ARPA IP address.

As we mentioned, we are not sure what is configured on the switch to suggest best. Get console cable (most of the time come with Switch by default)

refer quick start guide. (spend some time reading the document, the steps are easy )

Hello Mr Balaji

at last i made it, now i can connect to this great Gibraltar with Fedora terminal , and this is what we got, is there any way to get back to webui ? i think that the management port is down.

one more question please, we have Network video surveillance, the DiVAR has two NICs working as a team and they are Switch independent, so what should i do on switch side, i think  we should make a port channel but what would be the setting of this port channel?

thanks mr balaji, or other guy who like to help
