Hello,

with Stackwise, the failover time is milliseconds and not noticeable (due to Nonstop Forwarding and Stateful Switchover (NSF/SSO) technology).

When the Active Until fails, Service nondisruptive (subject to you have Dual Uplinks connected (Switch1 and Switch2) to Core or distribution switch).

example : ( this 4 switches in the stack), if you have 2 switches, second one before active, and wait for failed one to join back, bare in mind, the second will be active (even though active come back online again).
