C9300 port does not up with copper with verison 17.03.04

Hi,

I interconnected two Cisco C9300 via copper ethernet/RJ45 but the port did not come up. After I interconnected the both switch via SFP the port came up and the connection was established.

The infraesctructure of these equipments not support the connection via SFP, it was just a test. Currently the switches are running version 17.03.04, when I upgrade the version to 17.06.03 the connection was established via copper ethernet/RJ45.

Do you know if there is a bug in this version? What could cause this problem?

what is the distance between the switches ? Have you tried to configure 'mdix auto' on both interfaces ?

have you try to up those ports manually by no shut ( both ports on the switches was down or one up and one down ?? )
