C9400-LC-48T= with Cisco 4507 R+E Compatibility

Hi Team,

I have an existing cisco 4507 chassis for which I need additional copper line cards. As the existing line cards are EOL, can i use

C9400-LC-48T= with my 4500 chassis?

What kind of challenges can I face?

I do not believe - C9400-LC-48T=  This module can go in Cat 4K Switches.

If you looking for Cat 4K Line cards, look for used or refurbished if not available, or time to Migrate to new Cat 9K switches with chasis.

As already noted by the other posters, the answer is no.  And, as Balaji suggest, if you cannot obtain EoL line cards from Cisco, they should still be available on the "used/refurbished" marked.

If that doesn't work for you, and you need more ports "now", and you're not ready to move to a newer switch chassis, you can use a few stand alone switches, connected to your 4500, to provide some additional copper ports.
