Hi,
I am looking for some information around the StackWise Virtual technology on C9500-40X.
We have 2x C9500-40X which are connected to each other via L2 and L3 links which acts as an A and B route for our core.
I am looking to stack another switch to each of these to increase port count and didnt realise until recently that the 9500 uses SWV and not the StackWise-480.
Im reading mixed reports on using SWV on these switches so not sure what way to go about it.
Has anyone any recent experience with this on these models?
Would it be straightforward to use SWV with a current C9500-40X in production?

How many ports are required?
If there are not enough ports with 9500 then the next logical step up is the 9600.

We currently only have a few ports left on each switch so looking to future proof.
I believe you can only stack 2 of the C9500 so therefore could be an issue down the line if needing to increase again.
