C9500 Stacked Mogration

Dear Community,

I have two C9500 Switches in stack. I want to migrate one switch by removing the stack to a new location and putting all the services to the that only. Then I want to remove and relocate the 2nd switch and bring the satck up.

Question: While removing and adding the stackwise virtual reloads the switch ?

You should be able to turn off the standby switch only, disconnect all the cables, and move it to the new location. Once installed and cabled in the new location, turn on the switch and it should come up as standby. Check the status of the stack by issuing the "sh redundancy" command. Ensure you do all these in a maintenance window as you never know what can go wrong.
