Cisco's minimum license length purchasable for DNA is 3 years. Even with that 3 year license, the new 9300 with a DNA license still costs afew hundred les sthan an older C3850 with the comparable routing license (Essentials roughly equals LAN Base plus a bit of IP Base, Advantage is equal to IP Services)

" -A" is Advantage, the equivalent of the older IP Services license plus the Cisco DNA Advantage license for software mamanement.

"_-EDU" is educational only, a pricing change for schools only.

The "-1A" is a1 year DNA license available only to govt entities who can not buy more than a 1 year license.

And this one im failry sure but not 100% certain, "-1E" is the same 1 year option for educational entities that can not purchase a 3 year license.
