CAB SFP 50 cm

Hey,

i need to know if the CAB-SFP-50cm is compatible with the SFP ports in C3650-48PS-L and C3750X-24T-S ? and why wouldn' it work given that it works on SFP ports..

No, it is not compatible with those switches.

"The Catalyst 3560 switch supports the SFP module patch cable, a 1/2 meter, copper, passive cable with SFP module connectors at each end. The patch cable can connect two Catalyst 3560 switches in a cascaded configuration"

The resean might be the type of transmiter in 3560.

As per the compatibilty matrix of CAB-SFP-50m it is an alternative to using SFP transceivers when interconnecting Catalyst 3560 switches through their SFP ports.
