Can a Linksys router set up IPSEC vpn with a Cisco 2800 router?

May I know if a Linksys router can set up IPSEC vpn with a Cisco 2800 router?

Hi Yong,

From what I know as long as the two endpoints for the tunnel match algorithms, encryption, negotiation protocols, policies, etc IPSEC can be estabilished between any devices "speaking" IPSEC because it is all defined in a standard.

Although i cant give any specific examples (no experience), you should check the linksys router documentation and options (which should be more limited) and then configure the 2800 accordingly.

It seems you can setup IPSec LAN to LAN vpn tunnel between Linksys and Cisco.
