My provider told me to use a 805 router, I don't find one.So can I use a 1721 router with A wic 1 enet?
Thanks.

The 805 router has a 10Mb Ethernet interface and the 1721 10/100Mb Ethernet should certainly provide the same functionality (I do not think that you would need the wic-1ENET). The 805 has a serial interface and the serial cable that it would need depends on what the provider would be using. If you find out from the provider the specifics of what they would want to connect to the 805 serial port then you can find out whether there is the same type of serial connection offered on the 1721.

Hi
In addition to Rick's comment do remember that you can scale up to 512Kbps of bandwidth with your Cisco 805 router.

Hi Garry
You can go upto 2Mbps with the Wic-1T card installed in your Cisco 1721 router.
