We are looking at purchasing the CBS350-24P-4G but due to supply chain issues, only the CBS350-24P-4X is available. We will be using a fiber trunk link between this switch and a SG350-10MP. The SG350 only supports 1G SFP. Can 1G SFP's be used in the CBS350?
Thanks in advance.

CBS350 seems to support 10Gig only.
datasheet:
CBS350-24P-4X |
CBS350-24P-4X-xx |
● 24 10/100/1000 PoE+ ports with 195W power budget
● 4 10 Gigabit SFP+

Just curious as another switch manufacturer with 10G uplink ports allows 1G SFP use by turning off auto-negotiation and configuring the port to 1G. Thought maybe the Cisco would operate in a similar fashion but would need to verify before purchase.
Thanks.

That is correct. There are some Cisco switches with uplink modules or ports that operate at 1 or 10Gig (using the correct SFP) but the datasheet for this particular switch model states that it supports 4 10Gig. You may still want to confirm this with the vendor or your Cisco sales rep, as sometimes the datasheet may not provide the correct information.
