Hello,
I have a new SG350 that is in factory default using 192.168.1.254. I've connected it to my Mac and manually setup an IP 192.168.1.100 and a subnet of 255.255.255.0. When I open a web browser and enter 192.168.1.254 it does nothing..
Therefore, I can't connect to the web based interface for the switch. Why is this?
Any info would be awesome!
Thanks

If the Device factory opened you should be able to get that page.
couple of steps to check :
1. are you able to ping 192.168.1.254 ?
2. If not try setting up your Laptop DHCP enable see Switch can offer DHCP IP address ?
if both are not working. - worth reset to factory and start over.

use this to go to command level (MAC or Linux called shaell)
https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/terminal/apdb66b5242-0d18-49fc-9c47-a2498b7c91d5/mac
once you have
#ping 192.168.1.254

thank you again..
it's telling me command not found

This is what it shows:
~ % #ping 192.168.1.254
zsh: command not found: #ping
