HI there,
I have removed an embbedded service engine modole from an 2951 router, after reboot the rouiter. the service engine interface still appears; any command can I use to completely remove it. thanks....

I do not have much experience with the embedded service engine module, and so can not offer authoritative advice. But my understanding is that the embedded service engine capability is a basic built in feature of the 2951. And though you may remove the particular module, the capacity of inserting a different module for the embedded service module engine still exists and the interface is still there (and can not be removed) to support whatever module you may choose to use at some future time.

thanks for prompt reply. Initially when I start the router, I didn't see the embedded service engine interface, untill I add the module in, I can sart to tsee the extra interface as one will expecte. anyway, I have configure and it is running OK... so all good... Thanks
