Can't get DHCP to work in Spanning Tree

I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing wrong. I configured the inter-VLAN routing from the main router with the IP addresses I used as default router for the DHCP pools I also set in the main router. I set the spanning-tree VLANs and even added switchport native VLAN for all of the switches in the spanning tree. I added one of the switchport access to the first PC to test it, but it isn't working and I need some help. Here's the map of the network. None of the PCs can get DHCP. I also didn't hook up the Wireless AP because I wanted to make sure the PCs could get DHCP, first. The Main Router and 2 main switches are in the MDF and the other 6 function in the IDF.

So I attached the PC and phone together on both IDF Switch 1 and IDF Switch 2 for PC0 and PC1, and only PC0, IP Phone 1, and IP Phone 2 were able to get IP addresses. PC1 couldn't get it, even after an ipconfig /release and /renew.

Since the exact same configuration is working on my PC, I am thinking that it might have something to do with your local settings. I am running Windows 8.1.

 

I found the below in a discussion about someone experiencing a similar issue. There are several troubleshooting tips, check those:

 

--> In the command prompt, enter the command "set". This will display all of your environment variables. Look for ones that says PT6HOME and PT7HOME. They should both point to the version of packet tracer you want to use for the exam. Make sure they are set to the correct location. If it is not, you will have to modify the environment variables in your system settings and restart windows.
Reset your PT configuration settings by going into your home directory (C:\Users\yourusername) and find the Packet Tracer 6.1.1 directory (the directory name will match exactly the same as your PT installation directory name) and find the PT.conf file inside, and delete it.
Turn off windows defender (different from windows firewall), only disable it temporarily to see if it is the culprit.
Go to Windows Firewall, make sure you are connected to a secure network (Home or Work), the public network setting could block certain network accesses.
In Windows Firewall, click the Advanced Settings. In the Inbound Rules, find the ones for Packet Tracer (could be several), delete all of them. Then start Packet Tracer again. There will be a windows firewall prompt, make sure to check the box to allow.
In Control Panels, go to Java. In the General tab, click on Network Settings. Make sure Use Browser Settings is selected. In the Temporary Internet Files section, click on Settings, and click Delete files (this will clear your java cache). In the Security tab, Make sure the setting is at Medium. Click on Restore Security prompts (this will make java prompt you for permissions again from sites you already allowed). Make sure to allow the PT exam when you start it.

I am attaching my working file again (maybe something wasn't saved correctly the last time). Give it a few minutes after startup to converge...

 

 

This seems to work almost perfectly. It keeps requesting time out when I try to ping the ip addresses. Do I have to have portfast on to fix that? And if I change some ports to different VLANS (already stated in vtp) via switchport access on an IDF and add PCs to it, they should get DHCP like the ones currently connected, correct?

spanning-tree portfast is required, otherwise the DHCP broadcast sent from the PC or phone is timing out before the interface goes to forwarding.

Packet Tracer is kind of slow, when I start up the file, it sometimes takes minutes before the PCs get their addresses, but eventually it works. In a 'real' network convergence would be much faster...

I added portfast to the ports going to the end devices, but I still can't ping them. It still keeps requesting time out. Anything I'm doing wrong?

I think one of your VLANs (VLAN 30 ?) has only two available host addresses...check the configuration of the router.

Other than that, when I checked, it sometimes took several minutes for the PC to acquire an address...

I checked VLAN 30, and it's fine. But I can't even ping VLAN 80 on either one of the MDF Core switches. I even tried pinging the default gateways (whatever vlan the pc is on) and still got requested time out. I'm not sure what is wrong, exactly? It times out on every request.
