I can't ping anything on internal ports on a WS-CBS3012-IBM-I.
sample interface config:
switchport trunk native vlan 32
switchport mode trunk
switchport nonegotiate
srr-queue bandwidth share 10 10 60 20
srr-queue bandwidth shape 10 0 0 0
queue-set 2
priority-queue out
mls qos trust cos
auto qos voip trust
sh int status:
Gi0/1 connected trunk a-full a-1000 1000BaseX
Gi0/2 connected trunk a-full a-1000 1000BaseX
Fa0 connected routed a-full a-100 10/100BaseTX
traceroute from a different subnet
Tracing the route to 10.32.43.101 -->> /23 network
1 10.32.43.100 0 msec 0 msec 0 msec
2 * !H *
sh ip route
Default gateway is 10.32.42.1
Host Gateway Last Use Total Uses Interface
ICMP redirect cache is empty
10.32.43.100 is the bladecenter management interface. Why would it be trying to go through it first?
Please help

On the IBM 3012 do you have a management IP address?
In order to ping you need an IP address on the switch.
Can you post sh run?

It does have a management address (10.32.43.120 - same vlan as everything else). I changed the native vlan on all of the ports to an unused vlan, and everything started working. I'm not sure why that worked, because the ESXi hosts were tagging frames for Vlan 32, and the native vlan was 32, so it shouldn't have made any difference.
