Hi Carl,

It is not possible, as 2960's does not provide capability for common backplane in a stack that 3750 does. Stack technologies are different with 3750 being superior, see comparison here (FlexStack Comparison with StackWise Plus):

What can be done is a switch clustering to manage all switches as a single entity. A switch cluster is a group of connected Catalyst  switches that are managed as a single entity. In a switch cluster,  1 switch must be the command switch and up to 15 switches can be member  switches. The total number of switches in a cluster cannot exceed  16 switches. The command switch is the single point of access used to  configure, manage, and monitor the member switches. Cluster members can  belong to only one cluster at a time.

If you are talking about StackWise cable?  The answer is NO.

Even if you are talking about 2960S, the physical shape alone of the each model's stacking cable makes it physically impossible.  And yes, this decision to make them physically different was INTENTIONAL.

HOWEVER, if you want to "stack" them then you can use Switch Clustering.

The only main benefit with using Switch Clustering is amount of Management IP address to use.
