Hello,

you also might need to configure the extended system ID:

Switch(config)#vtp mode transparent
Switch(config)#spanning-tree extend system-id

Hi :)

What VTP mode is the switch currently operating at?

VLANs in the extended range (from 1006 to 4094) can be only be created while the switch is in VTP transparent mode.

Hello,

you also might need to configure the extended system ID:

Switch(config)#vtp mode transparent
Switch(config)#spanning-tree extend system-id

Hello

on a side note - Check the internal usage of the switch system vlans it could be possible that vlan it's already being used by the switch especially if this usage is set in a descending order

sh vlan internal usage

lastly what sdm template is running

sh sdm prefer
