Hi,
So I have Cisco Switch CBS220 and have some issue if I try to ping computer from switch I have packet lost 100% from computer I can ping switch without problems, switch is connected to Firewall and it can be pinged in both directions, Firewall on PC is turned off , so I am not sure what can be the problem, MAC address from the computer is visible in MAC Address Tables, in the Dynamic Address Table VLAN ID is default 1.
Computer receives DHCP address from the Firewall Check Point 1590, and the switch also, they are of course in the same IP range.
Thanks in advance for help,
Regards,
Shon

In situations where computer can ping switch but switch can not ping computer my experience is that most often it is an issue with firewall on the computer. But you say that you have checked and firewall is not the issue. So we must look for some other explanation. From the computer can you post the output of these commands (or other appropriate syntax depending on OS)
ipconfig
arp -a
And from the switch can you post the configuration of the interface where the computer is connected, the vlan interface for the vlan where the computer is connected, and the output of show arp?

Hi Richard,
Many thanks for the reply on this and advice provided, somehow the issue has been self resolved , computer can be pinged from Switch now.
