cannot put command "hw-module module 3"

i have 4507R with dual supervisors (WS-X4013+10GE) with IOS  cat4500-ipbasek9-mz.122-46.SG.bin

the supervisor module are in 3 and 4, and I want to connection port 5, but i have interface and line protocol down "inactive" error.

So I realized to use command "hw-module" to change the module to GE port. However, I am not able to use the command as"

XXXXX(config)#hw-module module ?

  <1-7>  module slot number

XXXXX(config)#hw-module module 3 ?

% Unrecognized command

XXXXX(config)#hw-module module 3

% Incomplete command.

XXXXX(config)#hw-module module 3 port?

% Unrecognized command

I cannot use the command "hw-module uplink" as well.

how to solve this problem? thanks!

According to the data sheet, this sup has 2 10 Gig ports and 4 1Gig ports. Are you trying to convert a 10Gig port to 1Gig?

Why can't use the 1Gig ports?

You can use all the 1Gig ports and 10Gig ports at the same time.
