Cant copy from TFTP

I have a 3650 which I am trying to upgrade from a TFTP server on the same LAN. The tftp is used to automatically back up the config using archive commands so copying from Cisco to TFTP works all the time.

When I try to copy from TFTP to the Cisco I get a timeout. I can see the activity on the TFTPD log but the connection drops. I have seen similar issues when the MTU is set wrong. This box has MTU 1508 and so does the TFTP server.

I have the "ip tftp source..." set correctly.

There is no windows firewall at all and no traffic restrictions. I have tried copying the config to the TFTP server (which works) and back again (which fails).

Any ideas?

Hello,

try and increase the TFTP blocksize:

Have you enable tftp server and specified the source location on the other device to be the server so it works the other way around?
