whenever i enter the command CORESW#dir on my "WS-C6509-E " with two Supervisor Engine 720 i get this message %Error opening sup-bootflash:/ (Bad device info block) , anyone have any idea what is wrong?

have you tried as suggested above put in a cf card and boot from there instead of bootflash in slot 0 or 1 or try below , there looks to be an an issue with you bootflash that's why I advised you to go to TAC as it could be hardware related , never heard of company profile being hurt working with TAC considering most large Enterprise companies work directly with them in terms of best practice and design , could be about cost though TAC support is not cheap and the more cases you raise the more it costs but for core devices if you have support and you run into an issue like this its advisable to have TAC in on it to rule out hardware , TAC have tools that only they have access to

can i try to overwrite both main and slave supervisor sup-bootflash by
copy tftp sup-boothflash
copy tftp slavesup-bootflash?
will it disrupt the core switch operation?
