Hi,
I just looked all ten ports on SUP in slots 5 and 6 and I can see that Ten 5/3, Ten 5/4, Ten 6/3 and Ten 6/4 are inactive. I am not sure why and is there some restriction or should I add to the configuration?
Thanks.

Hi,
Are you sups configured for redundancy (SSO)?
what is the output of "sh redu"?

It is SSO

So, when connecting these 10Gig interfaces, do you see a link light?

No link light. Show interface command shows that ports are inactive. When I plug the same SFP and patch cable into Ten 5/1 or 5/2 it works. Only ports 5/3, 5/4, 6/3 and 6/4 are affected.

from the config guide:
When you use WS-X45-SUP7-E in RPR or SSO mode, only the first two uplinks on each supervisor engine are available. The second two uplinks are unavailable.

Thanks.
I found that too, I was just not sure if there is anything that can be done to make them active
