CAT 500 - Notification error

I have a CAT 500 with a WLC 4402 hooked to the gigabit port and i am getting the following notification errors

Port Gi1: Detected undersize frames generated by the connected device

Is there a way to disable this alert or a particular smartport setting I should configure for this Gig Port?

Try different speed/duplex settings.Try upgrading IOS.Because certain generates alarm even for non critical errors.Same issue occurs CE 500 Switch.
