Hi,
Is it possible to view the utilisation of individual CFC CPUs on 6500/7600 line cards via CLI? We have an SNMP based management solution that is reporting 100% CPU utilisation on a couple of ethernet modules with CFC daughter cards in a 7609 chassis but can't see any CLI commands that might verify.
Thanks

Graham,
Sorry to say you cannot view the CFC CPU utlization through the CLI on 6500. But if you had the DFC then you can check the same using the command:remote command module 1 show proc cpu ( or login to the module and running the commands). But were as on the CFC there is nothing such you need to watch out for the Sup cpu.

Thank you, that's what I thought. Now to figure out why it's showing 100% via SNMP.
Edit.
I've just tried that command on the CFC equiped modules and it seems to work, the output is a bit worrying though!
router#remote command module 2 sh proc cpu sort
CPU utilization for five seconds: 93%/92%; one minute: 97%; five minutes: 98%
router#remote command module 8 sh proc cpu sort
CPU utilization for five seconds: 99%/97%; one minute: 98%; five minutes: 98%
router#remote command module 9 sh proc cpu sort
PU utilization for five seconds: 99%/96%; one minute: 98%; five minutes: 98%
The DFC modules look fine.
