Hi Guys, have anyone came across something like this?
We have 2 x 6800s forming the core at our DR site. The link between them used to be a 1Gb fibre, but we noticed it was flatlining during backup periods. We then replaced it with a 10G link.
However, the link still flatlines only at 1Gb. In fact, if i do a ping from the 1 interface to the other (trunk and SVIs), I get latencies of about 300ms. So that tells met There are no downstream or upstream 1G link throttling it. The output of both switches indicates it is running 10G, and there are no policy maps applied.
TBH I am a bit stumped. I am starting to think it might be a bug, but I do not see anything related in the release notes. I am starting to think something is still telling the OS it is a 1G link, but I have never really seen that before.
Thanks!
Jacques

Hello,
odd indeed. Can you post the configs of both ports, or better yet, the entire configuration of both 6800s ?

adding to other suggestions, try iperf and test the link between point to point you able to get 10GB.
Also please clarify is Darkfibre or provider delivered link? (if provider delivered - check with provider any filters ).
