 - Follow the boot process on a console link after the upgrade, check for errors. Also just after the switch has booted issue show logging ; check if you can find more info concerning your problem.

Hi Marce,

i have followed upgrade procedure as follows:

request platform software package install switch all file flash:cat9k_iosxe.16.06.04a.SPA.bin auto-copy
install add file flash:cat9k_iosxe.16.06.04a.SPA.bin activate commit
reload

Can you downgrade the firmware and see if the TwentyFiveGig interface returns or not?

The image was "16.8.1r" and i installed the recommended image.

do you want me to use that image.

Thanks

I know the reason why: Is there a 25 Gbps interface module (C9300-NM-2Y) installed?

Hi Lea,

I think I know what the issue is.

The switch is a 9300-48P.  This means it is a 48 port triple speed ethernet.  There is a C9300-NM-8X module.  This module only supports SFP+.  Nowhere in the "sh inventory" does it say the switch has C9300-NM-2Y (2 x 25 Gbps ports).
