Catalyst 2960-l layer 3 support confusion

Hi

Needs some help please  as documentation is driving me nuts. Can anyone confirm the following;

I need a 8 port switch that supports routing between 2 SVI’s and a default route for customer deployments. The data sheet says the catalyst 2960-l with lanlite supports ‘basic layer 3’ features including RIP and static routing, however the faq says layer 3 is not supported. Will the 2960-l fulfil these requirements? Links are below;

regards

John

Cisco GVE support confirmed that the catalyst 2960-l does basic layer 3 ipv4 routing.

Sorry for confusion on our external documents. On this part I confirmed that the information on our data sheet is correct as I double checked with our internal resources. Cisco Catalyst 2960-L can support basic layer 3 including which will provide Routing Information Protocol (RIP) for IPv4 and IPv6 and static routing.
