Hello, I am looking at the Catalyst 2960 models. Can anyone please point me in the direction where I can find out what the characters in the model number stand for i.e. XR-48FPD-I?
I know 48 is port 48 ports but want to make sure what does F, P, D, I stand for? Is there anywhere I can look this up because I am always searching to make sure, don't like guessing and takes time. I am sure after getting familiar it will get easier - any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
KNM

Thanks MiKa!
I did call pre-sales. After reading your interpretation I did go over the fact sheet again and it started to make better sense to me. I do wish I could get and authoritative answer, however I have a better understanding now.

Hi KMN,
yes, I know, sometimes pre-sales can be a bit clueless, same to the people writing the data-sheets.
Best regards, MiKa
