I have a 3550 I am trying to configure OSPF and get :Unknown routing protocol"
Ususally means the image does not support ospf.
Do I need an image upgrade?

The one that you are running is a SMI image. You would need a EMI image to get full L3 routing functionality.

Thanks, i just found that out.
Can you upgrade these 3550s?
I have 5526K/8192K bytes of memory and I see now way to upgrade the ram after taking the cover off.
All the EMI images need 16M.
What can I do?
