Hi,

IMHO, it seems you've got wrong subnet mask configured on your Catalyst.

Change it from /24 to /23 and everything should work.

BTW, I suppose you are using /23 subnet mask on your clients.

Why don't you configure your clients to use 192.6.1.240 as their default GW?

HTH,

Milan

The cat default GW subnet is overlapping the /23 subnet:

/23 - 192.6.0.1 - 192.6.1.254

/24 - 192.6.1.1 - 192.6.1.254

As Milan says, change the Cat default GW to the /23 subnet

Hi,

The 192.6.0.1 network is different from the default gateway network.
You need to have VLAN's create on the Catalyst 3750 in order to make routing between 192.168.6.0/23 and 192.168.0.1/24 networks

Hi,

I Think there is a misunderstanding about subnets.

Our subnet is 192.6.1.0/23 (IP Range 192.6.0.1-192.6.1.254)

Client gateway is our catalyst switch (192.6.1.7/23)

Catalyst default GW is 192.6.1.240/24

All Clients((IP Range 192.6.0.1-192.6.1.254) can ping to 192.6.1.7 normally but Catalyst does not route (192.6.0.1-192.6.0.254) packets to its default gateway (192.6.1.240).

Catalyst only routes packet from clients(192.6.1.1-192.6.1.254) to  its default GW(192.6.1.240).

The cat default GW subnet is overlapping the /23 subnet:

/24 - 192.6.1.1 - 192.6.1.254
