Hi all,
This question seems stupid but pls guide me. When we are selecting 4500 switch (for example) as per customer needs, its 10 GE cards dont come with sfp adapters ( as told by my colleague). I want to know is it mentioned in any particular document that if we are ordering a particular line card, we have to seperately buy sfp adapters as well ?? ( i am using CCW for configuration)

Hi,
None of the line cards come with optics. You have to purchase the optics (SFP, X2, etc...) all separately.
Make sure to know if you need Multimode or Single mode SFPs or X2s. There is big price difference.
Use the config tool:
