Hello forum,
yesterday I found this error on my log:
"LTL parity check request for 0xCC01 from slot"
That error is classified "critical" but no problems are present on my device.
Could anyone explain me if is this a worrying error ?
From info that I found on Internet I think that this error is dangerous only if is frequent on my log.
Thank to all

Hello Marcello,
This is the result of a parity error in the port ASIC port index table (SRAM) used by the Catalyst 6100-6500 and 6700 Series modules.
Recommendation:
Monitor the system regularly for reoccurrence. If no further events are observed, it is a soft error. If the error occurs frequently, request an RMA in order to replace the module.

My Catalyst6500 switch have same error message.
Is this module problem?

Its a parity error.
It's an error detection and recovery mechanism. Finding one error and
correcting it (which is what has happened here) once in a while is not a
bad thing.
Action Plan:
==========
If this has been seen only once then monitor for 24 hours.
But in case if you happen to see this issue twice in span of 24 to 48 hours , try reseating the card(Provide me the crash in case if you see any crash) if no crash then reseat should help after which you can think of replacing if the reseat of the module doesnt help.
HTH
