Hello there ,
By mistake I had formatted booflash as it is in dir Bootflash: result message for slot0 "The device has either been removed or bad device name Bootflash:"
There is no Bootflash image in slot0, so I looked for a way to upload my image to slot0 via a TFTP server to set up an IP address. Is there a clear guide explaining how to set up an IP address and set up TFTP too on rommon mode , I found one cisco website for 4500/4000 series but totally is not matching with my physical rommon configuration set structure, and here is the version about this switch Rom Monitor Program Version 12.2(31r)SGA1
Thanks

Thanks I solved the problem and finally I copied the image to bootflash disk , the firewall was blocked the IP for TFTP protocol , I used the firewall as ip range server to enforce switch MGMT port connectivity .
Switch#dir bootflash:
Directory of bootflash:/

thinks for the information , I read that before , I have no idea why still the procedure not working with me, specially the section related with "Recover from a Corrupt or Lost Image" , the pinging not working like "No response from host 172.18.125.3.", , Im using the MGMT port during rommon mode, one time was worked ,the pinging response has done of one cycle when finished then rebooted automatically , then next I test pinging again on same IP that related for TFTP server as per the procedure of cisco , wont work again every thing it doesn't working with many attempting to chick the connectivity all are good, asper the instruction, mentioned that MGMT port cable using straight cable, so I'm using CAT7 , my question what else might be missed , could be crossover cable required. is there any other advise to solve this issue..

Please upload the picture of the front of the switch.
I could be wrong but there are two models of the "4948": One is CatOS and another one is Cisco IOS (aka "classic" IOS). I suspect this switch runs only on CatOS (originally a Sup2).
