Catalyst switch not forwarding mDNS packets to 9800 WLC

the catalyst switch in between the server and wlc doesn't seem to forward mDNS packets to the WLC i have tried all the suggestions on this guide but the catalyst switch doesn't seem to register the WLC as an IGMP snooping querier.

Hello,

can you post the full running config of the respective switch, as well as the output of 'sh ver' from that switch ?

I assume mDNS is enabled globally on the WLC ? Can you turn on debugging:

debug ip mpacket

and post the output as well ?

I didnt enable mDNS globaly because it will make the WLC into an mDNS gateway and for our purpose the WLC only needs to be an mDNS bridge. im concerned about the debug consuming too much cpu and causing downtime. here are the config of the services switch and the WLC
