Catalyst with IOS 12.2(55)SE strange behaviour with no cdp enable under interface

Hi,

After an upgarde of 2960/3560/3750 to IOS 12.2(55)SE1 all interfaces with the "no cdp enable", receive multiple autogenerate cdp commands. Same behaviour after a reboot.

Before the upgrade or the reboot :

interface FastEthernet0/6
switchport access vlan 200
switchport mode access
switchport nonegotiate
no logging event link-status
no snmp trap link-status
no cdp enable
spanning-tree portfast

After the upgrade or the reboot :

interface FastEthernet0/6
switchport access vlan 200
switchport mode access
switchport nonegotiate
no logging event link-status
no snmp trap link-status
no cdp enable
no cdp tlv server-location
no cdp tlv app
spanning-tree portfast

The CDP tlv options have been added with this specific version, questions

- Why these commands are added after a reboot ?

- Because this command are enable by default without options xhat is the interest to autogenerate them after disabling CDP on the interface ? If CDP isdisable then these commands are also disable.

- There are three commands available and only two of them are autogenerated, if this is FAD, why the third command is not autogenarate ( no cdp tlv location)?

Hi,

In my case this behaviour is quite disturbing because we have some Cat4510 with all slot modules used with 48 ports line card, for each end-users ports this feature is disabled

So experiencing this behaviour generate 8 slots * 48 ports * 2 (not wish lines) = 768 lines add to an already long configuration.
