Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I am new to Cisco Business Series switches and I stumbled upon a configuration problem. I have a 220 series switch connected to a Mikrotik router. The Mikrotik router provides 1Gbit/s connectivity to the Internet (tested at 950/900Mbit/s downlink/uplink). When I connect to the Internet via Cisco switch the bitrate drops to 100/100 Mbit/s downlink/uplink.
How do I configure the switch so that it provides full available bandwidth, not restricting it tenfold?
It is not a hardware issue, a laptop connected directly to the switch sports a Gigabit connection wheh i check for properties, yet testing Internet connectivity yields no more than 100Mbit/s.

The port configuration on both sides looks good to me. There must be a problem in the physical link. A broken wire or pin, miswiring, ect. Try different cables and different ports. Use other devices in the testing, too.

Hi
The first thing to see, if you did not yet, is the connection between Mikrotik and switch. I am assuming it is 1 giga, right? Just make sure it is OK and working as 1 Giga. Depending on the situation the port can work in half dupplex and it can explain the issue. Of, for a mistake, the command "speed 100" could be added.

Hello
Do you have any mls qos enabled on the cisco switch which could initiate policing ,rate control etc at the access level.

as other suggested, Looks like Mikrotik to Switch, Switch to enpoint port negotiation issue.
check show interface x/x see what speed its connected.

Thank you for your answers.
There seems to be an issue with autonegotiation between Cisco Switch and Mikrotik router. Current configuration is as follows:
MIkrotik port setup:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gy1SZQQBvyE1ZR3PbMcTt-J6kq7oabSn/view?usp=sharing
Difference between setup and status seems to be in Advertising. It is set up to advertise 100M and 1000M
but when you look at Status only 100M is ticked, 1000M boxes are not ticked.
MIkrotik port status:

When you look at Link Partner Advertising there is a similar problem: although Cisco 220 series switch is set
up to advertise all 10M, 100M and 1000M, only 10M and 100M are ticked, 1000M boxes are not ticked.

Both devices work absolutely fine at 1000M full duplex when connected to other routers, switches or computers. Cat 5E patchcords are 1 meter long and they are brand new.
How to set up autonegotiation parameters so as to link Cisco Switch and Mikrotik router at 1000M full duplex speed?
I am not able to find the mismatch in both devices configuration that prevents autonegotiating the link at 1000Mbps.

https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Interface/Ethernet
The command for Cisco Switch use at work is "set speed auto" or "set speed 1000". My guess is that Cisco's "speed 1000" is the equivalent of MikroTiks "auto-negotiation=yes advertise=1000M-full.
auto-negotiation is mandatory for 1000BASE-T. The definitive reference is IEEE standard 802.3, Section 28D.5 Extensions required for Clause40 (1000BASE-T)

Changing patchcords to Cat.6 did the trick. Thank you all for your support, it was very helpful.
