Hello There,
I am not a Network Pro but we have a lot of new CBS250-8PP-D Switches and other Cisco Switches only. The CBS250-8PP-D runs for few weeks.
A colleague thought his network was not working and had rebooted a CBS250-8PP-D. At the same time 5 out of 10 CBS250-8PP-D crashed and are now in a reboot loop. I can't reach the switches anymore. No more link on the network ports. There is no serial port anymore, so I don't see any log. I tried to reset them via hardware reset, but that doesn't work either.
Firmware is on all devices: 3.2.0.89
Is there any way to rescue the devices? Maybe via the USB port?
This all sounds a bit strange, but I have no idea how this could happen.
Any Ideas?
Thank You

Remove all the connection, Turn off the device wait for 5min
and do the factoryt reset and do the basic setup, still rebooting again in loop
contact SMB tac for replacement.

Hi,
I know it's a bit late, but similar thing happened to me with my CBS250-8T-D - same firmware version as yours. I've just noticed that my PC has been disconnected from the network. Then I've noticed that my switch is for some reason constantly rebooting. I've had connection for about 5-10 seconds between reboots. I've tried factory reseting, but it didn't work. After approx. half an hour it stopped and it started to work normally again. I've updated it to the latest version and since then nothing, however it's been only an hour since it stopped rebooting. Not sure if it was just a bug or an early sign of failing hardware, but I hope if it will repeat, it will do it soon, so I can RMA it asap.
