CCNA 4 - WAN - PPP 2.5.1 LAB - PPP Configuration

I was wondering if I could get some responses from yall. I'm going to attach my packet tracer setup.

My main problem is that routers 1 and 3 , both their interfaces (fa0/1) status are 'UP' but their protocol is "DOWN"

You have to go in to the switches and on fa0/1 do a "no shut" on those interfaces connected to the routers.
