CDP Issues

Hello all,

Hopefully you guys can help me with an issue I am having on my network.

Currently, I have 6 stack switches (3850-48P) that is connected to another switch.  When running the "CDP Neighbors" command I am able to view on the primary stack all ports, neighbors, and IP's of my secondary switch.  However, when you are on the other switch and run the same CDP command it does not show all the neighbor connections to the primary.

So basically it shows I have three neighbor relationships with the secondary switch, but on the secondary switch it shows I only have only two neighbor relationships with the primary.

I am completely confused on why this is happening.

Any ideas?

Output:

Primary

WH-WANSW-01 Gig 6/0/46 139 S I WS-C3850- Gig 0/0
WH-WANSW-01 Gig 4/0/47 145 S I WS-C3850- Gig 1/0/24
WH-WANSW-01 Gig 3/0/47 143 S I WS-C3850- Gig 1/0/23

Secondary

Hello!

What is your configuration in this ports: Gig 6/0/46 in the primary and for this other Gig 0/0 in the secondary? Do you not have cdp disabled on any of those interfaces?

Regards,

Configurations on both ports are enabled for CDP.
