Hello everybody,

Well, I'm using AP1532 Lightweight and I want to change IOS into Standalone to make some tests, but I'd got a problem here. When I put the last command to downlaod de file into AP (archive download-sw /force-reload /overwrite tftp://172.18.2.61/ap3g1-k9w7-tar.153-3.JAB.tar), it shows the following message:

AP78da.6e59.ea74#$ite tftp://172.18.2.61/ap3g1-k9w7-tar.153-3.JAB.tar

%Error opening tftp://172.18.2.61/ap3g1-k9w7-tar.153-3.JAB.tar (No such file or
directory)
Download image failed, notify controller!!! From:7.6.95.12 to 0.0.0.0, FailureCo

archive download: takes 1 seconds

As complementary information, I proceed as the following secuence:

1. AP IP address: 172.18.2.60

2. AP subnet : 255.255.255.0

3. AP gateway: 172.18.2.61

4. LAptop IP: 172.18.2.61

5. Using tftp32 at 172.18.2.61 and IOS file copied at the tftp folder

I hope you can help me,

Greetings

Hi,

Use the following guide to convert form lightweight to autonomous mode:

http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/8-0/configuration-guide/b_cg80/b_cg80_chapter_01101010.html

Thanks

hi,

try to delete first the k8 image on the AP flash and use the tar -xtract command.

see helpful link:

http://wannabelab.blogspot.com/2015/03/converting-lightweight-ap-to-autonomous.html

I saw many tutorials talking about this and I'm using "archive download-sr...". I think tftp server is the problem but I don't knoe where is the problem there. It starts and stops inmediately.
