Hi,
my Cisco 1811 router is configured for SSH access (this is a lab environment).
I can SSH connect to the router but after one or two minutes I get disconnected and cannot connect again. The router does not even respond to ping anymore. I can connect to the console and reload the router though!
It was working a couple days before and I can't remember what I did that could possible cause this lockdown. I have attached my running config.
Any help would be appreciated!
Sebastian

Hi,
The router is getting an IP dynamically on the outside.
Might be losing its internet connection when this happens?
When you reload the router, it restablishes the internet connection.
It sounds like a problem between the router and the connection to the Internet, can you confirm that with the ISP?
Federico.

Sorry, I just noticed: if I get disconnected on the LAN interface, I can still connect not only from the console but from the WAN side as well.
