I use Cisco 2611 XM for my existing setup of IPLC-VOIP technology with a 4 voice extensions, I plan to increase the number extensions to 8, Is my existing model is compatible for this increase ?

Hi,
What do you mean by 4 voice extensions, is that the FXS port count or the PRI lines count.
2611XM has 2 WIC slots which can take upto 4 Pri lines depending on the WIC card used. You can increase it max to 6 lines by using an avaialble NM slot. You can add a wide variety of Voice WICS to it. Please the modules supported in the NM slots.

Hi,
I try to mean 4 analog phone lines connected to the router used for VOIP thru IPLC technology.
Can this be increased to 8 analog phone lines with the same router model ?

I think you are using 2 x VIC2-2FXS card for spporting 4 analog phones.
In case you want to increase it to 8, you would require 2 x VIC-4FXS/DID
