Hello,

I have tried the fixes from the forum and I'm still having problems logging into the ios. I did the confreg 0x2142 etc and when done with other steps, I did the config-register 0x2102.

Every time I do that, I still get prompt to type in the password.

Hi

After booting with confreg 2142, you do copy start run right? Then go in conf t and change the enable password and username. Maybe you can also take a look on line configuration to change attached password if any.

Afterwards you do confreg 2102 and you should be ok.
