How long have you been using this router? How often does it reboot like this. If you have a support contract it would be good to open a case with Cisco TAC. They have better tools for examining the output than we do and would be better able to determine what is going on.

I see two parts of the output that are significant:

System returned to ROM by bus error at PC 0x4338CBE0, address 0x2002039 at 19:03:41 IST Thu Mar 22 2018

and

19:03:41 IST Thu Mar 22 2018: Address Error (load or instruction fetch) exception, CPU signal 10, PC = 0x4338CBE0

The issue might be hardware or it might be software fault. My guess is software. If you have access to download Cisco software for this router I would suggest changing to a newer version of software.

Hi,

For this, I would open a ticket with Cisco and send them the crash file for analyzes. They will most likely recommend an IOS upgrade.

from show version we can see this was due to a bus error.

System returned to ROM by bus error at PC 0x4338CBE0, address 0x2002039 at 19:03:41 IST Thu Mar 22 2018

System encounters a bus error when the processor tries to access a memory location and fails. this could be a software or hardware issue. I would suggest to get a TAC opened.

if you want to troubleshoot further you can refere.

Thank you Rick,

I have access to download Cisco software for this router.

please suggest  changing to a newer version of software.

The recommended version by Cisco is "c2800nm-adventerprisek9-mz.151-4.M12a.bin"

That said, I would consult with TAC before upgrading and also read all the release notes carefully.

Before upgrading software, you need to send the crash file to TAC.

1.  The router is currently running a "T" train.  I agree with everyone:  Use a more stable "M" train IOS would help.

2.  I'm with Rick.  What is the uptime of the router before this crash?  I am suspecting that this crash is due to a memory allocation bug.  Can you post the complete output to the command "dir".  If this router has crashed previously the crashinfo file(s) should be present with the date stamp.

3.  I am with Reza's recommendation of uploading the current crashinfo to TAC for further analysis.

I am glad that you have found the suggestions helpful. Thank you for marking this question as solved. This will help other readers in the forum to identify discussions that have helpful information. These forums are excellent places to ask questions and to learn about networking. I hope to see you continue to be active in the forums.
