cisco 2900 XL, does not show text...

Hi there,

One of my cisco2900XL switch does not show the texts written (on CLI), i.e. when I type 'show ver' it does not show anything on the screen but clearly shows the corresponding output of the command after pressing enter key. Why is it so?

Find the 'show tech' output attached.

This may be caused by the client you are using to connect to the device? What client/version/protocol are you using?

I connect to it through putty. It does not show the command text only, but shows the corresponding output parameters..!

I connect to it through the same way I connect to the other devices in the network, but rest of them are not showing this problem.

I almost remember this as being a bug , you might want to upgrade the image to the last available image . These are way past EOL .
