Does the 2940 (I've never used them) support all flavors of STP (MST, RSTP, STP)? What about dhcp snooping, all features of STP like backbonefast, root/loop/bpduguard, etc.? I can't find any datasheets on it since it's EOL.
Thanks,
John

Thanks Jon. I think I had this one confused with another one because this looks like a newer model. What is an older switch compared to the 2950 aside from the 3500XL?
Thanks,
John

I suspect you are referring to the 2900XL series switches. Been a long time since i have used one but i'm almost sure you won't get MST/RSTP. DHCP snooping or any of the newer features that you get on more modern switches.
