Cisco 2960 Policy based routing feature availability ?

Hi All,

I am unable to determine if policy based routing feature is available on a Cisco 2960 switch. This is the exact model

Switch Model : WS-C2960X-24PD-L

SW Version :   15.0(2)EX5

SW Image :     C2960X-UNIVERSAL-M

SDM prefer shows as this on the switch "The current template is "lanbase-default" template".  The Cisco guide tells "NOT TO ENABLE ROUTING TEMPLATE WHEN LANBASE DEFAULT IS SETUP" not sure why ? 

When i try to type in the ip policy or route-map command the cli says "unrecognized" command.

Hi,

PBR is supported on 2960XR with IP-Lite image as mentioned in the below datasheet. You can refer to the tables mentioned there where PBR is only listed in 2960XR tables.

Further, i did compare the two platforms in feature navigator and find similar results, check the attached
