Cisco 2970G and HSRP

I'm in doubt if the 2970G is supporting HSRP, from a search in the Feature Navigator i have not found an IOS with this feature.

Can you make me clear if there is an IOS image supporting HSRP on this switch ?

2970 series switches are just layer-2 switches and do not support HSRP.

At this point what (cheap) switch can you suggest with:

24GE ports (1000BaseT)

2 GE uplink/trunk port

IP and HSRP feature-set ?

You can get a 3560G with IP base license:

● Cisco Catalyst 3560G-24TS: 24 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports and 4 SFP-based Gigabit Ethernet ports; 1RU

The Product(3560G-24TS) is EoS and the replacement for the same is WS-C3560X-24T-S.
